Best time to visit: October to April. Egyptian winters are warm, dry, and perfect for outdoor exploration. Summer temperatures in Luxor regularly exceed 45°C — not ideal for temple-hopping.

How to get there: Direct flights to Luxor from Cairo (1 hour) and many European cities. Or combine with a private day trip from Hurghada — just 3.5 hours by road through the Eastern Desert.
